The Hampstead School District announced today its policy for determining eligibility of children who may receive free or reduced-price meals served under the National School Lunch Program (NSLP).
During program year 2026-2027, children enrolled in a sponsored United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) participating school/s, Residential Child Care Institution (RCCI) or other institution may be eligible to receive Free and Reduced-Price Meals benefits or Free Special Milk benefits if your family’s income qualifies. Enrolled students from a household receiving SNAP, FDPIR or TANF assistance are automatically eligible to receive free meal benefits.
