Happy and safe Thanksgiving to all of our Hampstead families! We are grateful for you!
To celebrate Thanksgiving, the hallways became alive with our own first-grade version of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade called “Balloons Over Broadway.” Students designed their own balloon characters during the week, some with help from their fourth grade buddies. The excited first graders and their teachers then paraded around the school today showcasing their creative and fun balloon designs.
Our Kindergarteners also participated in the parade with their "Turkey Trot" in which they showcased the colorful turkeys they have been working on all week. Students put a lot of time and creative detail into their turkey friends! Today was a day of festive Thanksgiving fun throughout the school! Happy Thanksgiving from HCS!
Students in PE just finished their Cup-Stacking unit. Students learned the six stack and how to stack up and down. Students in grades 3 and 4 participated in a ladder tournament. All grade levels were a part of the World Stacking Association Challenge. Way to go!
