Congratulations to Heather Burkett, one of our fourth grade teachers who was recently named a semi-finalist for the 2024 NH Teacher of the Year Award! Mrs. Burkett is one of 20 semi-finalists from an initial nominee pool of 92 educators from around the state. Mrs. Burkett will go on to the next round and present to the NH Dept. of Education in August. We are proud of Mrs. Burkett and wish her the best of luck in the next round! #hcshuskies

Congratulations to the HMS students who attended the National Junior Honor Society ceremony this week. We cannot wait to see the difference that our 7th graders will make next year when they become 8th graders!
Our first graders celebrated Flag Day today at HCS! First grade parents were treated to a great concert of patriotic music, songs, facts, and poems. The first graders also designed background artwork and showcased both their art and digital artwork at the celebration. A big thank you to the Grade 1 and UA Teams for organizing this event. Congratulations first graders on a job well done! #hcshuskies
Our 5th graders played Bingo for Books today. We handed out over 300 books (1-5 books/student) and about 50 posters. The majority of students even played with 2 boards! Many thanks to families for their donated books! Happy reading!
