At HCS we celebrated Halloween in style! Students and staff dressed in costumes, students paraded with their costumes through the school and everyone enjoyed a spirited Thriller dance from the fourth grade. It was a fun day for all at HCS!

Last Friday our fourth graders had the opportunity to visit the NH State House and the NH Historical Society Museum in Concord. The field trip featured a tour of the statehouse, a visit to the senate and house chambers, meeting local representatives, and a visit to the governor's office. Students also received a copy of the NH Constitution. While at the Historical Society Museum, students learned about NH history and artifacts of the past. It was a great opportunity for our students to learn about and celebrate our great state of New Hampshire!

The hawks field hockey team took on Hollis at the annual Play4theCure event this past Thursday. After an epic pep rally, the hawks came out strong on their home field! Both our defense and mid-field lines worked together to keep that ball away from their net! Hampstead dominated in the offensive circle and had many great scoring attempts throughout the entire game. All players were able to contribute to help the hawks score in the final quarter, walking away with big smiles and a 1-0 win! Captain, Ella W, was able to tip the ball into the goal helping the hawks secure the victory. Thank you to everyone who came out to support the team and a great cause!
