ABC (Anti-Bullying Club) recently visited Danville Elementary School to share their important message. ABC’s mission is to promote kindness, acceptance, and tolerance, inspiring others to “Do the Right Thing” when confronted with bullying. Our group, composed of 5th to 8th graders, creates and performs skits, songs, facts, and poems on themes such as peer pressure, bus behavior, being yourself, and lunchtime dynamics, specifically designed for 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders. Mrs. Bonnell, Mrs. Pollard, and Mrs. Doyle are incredibly proud of the club’s hard work and dedication.

Our 5th grade students have been studying prehistory participated in two cave art simulations recently!! Last week, we went outside to re-create cave art scenes using only natural sources - they used leaves, grass, trees, berries, etc.. Yesterday the students were in a cave like setting as they drew scenes of what their nomad life would have been like.
Thank you to Mrs Howard and 5th grade teaching team! The students had so much fun and will remember this activity!
